FINAL FANTASY VII App Reviews

First off, many people complain about the graphics and the gameplay. Its a ps1 game. In its time those were A+ graphics and the game was an instant classic. Because of that, its only gotten minor polishes to preserve its nostalgic value and because changing mechanics and full on graphical changes could cause an uproar, SE wants to keep it as close to the actual game as possible. Many people love the game this way. With that said, the iOS port has a few bugs right off the bat. Thankfully though SE has been fixing them.

The perfect port. Exactly as you remember. Those complaining about the controls ruining the aesthetics need only turn down the opacity in the menu. Those complaining about no auto save dont understand. You need to survive until you find a save point. Its how the game functions. Its how it has always functioned. I have this on my iPad and phone. FF7 is the greatest rpg of all time, now I have it in the palm of my hand. Great job Squaresoft... I mean Square-Enix. (Ha)
